I have purchased a firearm...

/ went ahead and bit the double-entendre bullet.  I purchased a Hi Point C9.

I am quite happy with the purchase.  It has all the advantages and disadvantages that every other owner of one has mentioned.  Mild feed problems with simple solutions.  Mostly just a good break in period.  If there are still issues left I should tweak the magazine lips and/or polish the feed ramp.

It's heavy, I think it looks fine.  A lot of folks say it's "ugly".  I say it's a hunk of metal and plastic designed to go "boom".  It goes boom.  Looks fine to me.  Even just base aesthetics, I really have no issue with it.  But the weight of it is quite comparable to other, similar size higher-end firearms.

Seems to be accurate enough, depending on who is pulling the trigger.  My brother makes great groups, me not so much.

So yeah, that's my nutshell review of the highly affordable hi point C9.
